If you have the Meeting Waitlist option turned on in your implementation of MatrixMaxx, turning it on is very easy.
If you don’t know if you have the Meeting Waitlist option, just look at the Registration Summary for one of your meetings. If you have the option turned on, it will list the number of registrations currently Waitlisted near the bottom of the summary.
To turn on the Waitlist feature, all you need to do is add a maximum number of attendees in your meeting setup. If the number of attendees reaches the maximum, the Waitlist option will automatically replace the registration form on the Meeting View on your Web site.
You, as an association staff member, will still be able to enter registrations beyond the attendance limit on the Intranet side of MatrixMaxx. Unfortunately, there is no way currently to add individuals to the Waitlist from the Intranet side.
