Use Meeting Questions to Confirm Registrants Have Read Your Cancellation Policy
The Additional Questions in MeetingMaxx are very flexible, allowing you to gather the specific information you need. One way you may not have thought to use these questions is to confirm registrants have read your meeting cancellation policy. Here are the steps to set this up in your meeting:
Click to View Larger VersionSelect “Multiple Choice – Choose Several” as the question type. This will make the answer have a checkbox next to it. If you choose the “Multiple Choice – Choose one” question type, the answer will be a radio button. Since some browsers auto select the first radio button in a group, a checkbox is better. This way, you know someone actually clicked it.
Type in your question. You may include a link to your cancellation policy or other document in the question text. See the example to the right for how to do this (Click to view a larger version). You will need to upload the document through your CMS or another way onto your server, and then link to it here.
Type answer choice.
Make the question required.
Set the question to show on the WWW registration form.
Below is an example of what the question will look like on your registration form: Click to View Larger Version
