How Can We Help?

MatrixMaxx 14.3 now live!

On September 9, 2014, MatrixMaxx implementations on the live production servers were upgraded to version: 14.3. New features in this release include:

  • TaskMaxx has been upgraded to CRMMaxx, including the ability to create ‘Leads’ for an organization.
    • From an organization’s view page, staff of associations using the TaskMaxx component will see a new ‘CRM’ option in the left navigation
    • Here staff can add Leads, change Phases of Leads, and attach Tasks to Leads
    • Linked from the help text, and also directly from the Admin menu, Siteadmins may add/edit the Module, Phase, and Probability values
    • A new ‘CRM’ menu allows you to search Leads across MatrixMaxx
    • Task Search now has an Export. Each row of the export represents a task and includes mostly the same data seen on the on-screen search results
    • Upgraded interfaces and exporting in TaskMaxx make usage even easier
    • [Note that future releases of MatrixMaxx will add leads to Individuals, more searching/reporting/exporting, and extra features like the ability to clone a lead. Priority for new features will be based on feedback from users in the remainder of September.]
  • New functionality in AdvocacyMaxx, including new quick links and a new report
    • ‘Congressional District Search/Report’ creates an on-screen report for a single district or an entire state based on explicitly naming the district/state or using a zip
    • Quick links to current Senators and Representatives
    • Expansion of the search by district into the short Organization Search found in the Contacts module
  • Widget upgrades: Changes to existing widgets and new widget.
    • New: Open Meeting Summary widget.
      • Available to add to your MyMatrixMaxx Dashboard
      • A massive new widget, which for most of you will need to edit and resize it to see all of your data at a glance.
    • Change: Meeting widget link to registrations was changed to sort in reverse chron so newest registrations are first
  • Contacts: basic individual search upgraded to now include radius search
  • Committees validation: made coding smarter in regards to possible duplicate flagging. As MatrixMaxx can support individuals on the committee in more than one role simultaenously, or staggered over time, the duplicate validation coding would sometimes flag someone as a duplicate when they weren’t really. The coding has now been upgraded to take start/leave dates better into account, so if someone was on the committee in a past term year, but their role is expired, the validation will not trigger. The validation will still trigger if the expired role is in the current year, just in case an edit was desired rather than a new addition.
  • Commerce Order Export includes more data (full shipping info, individual ‘pretty number’ in addition to ID)
  • My Account upgrade: Implementations with My Account may now go into ‘admin’ settings and change how the links work for payment. Previously, it automatically allowed users to ‘Review/Pay’ the invoice, meaning they could save through and edit the application/invoice. Now, it may now be set to NOT allow the review portion, but just take the user directly to the payment page, which also allows ‘Bills’ from the Commerce Billing module to be paid from My Account.
  • Sponsorship Email Upgrade: Payment info added to confirmation email
  • WWW Manage My Profile landing page upgraded to now be responsive

and regarding our integrations with other systems …

  • MailChimp Synch Upgrades and Fixes.
    • MailChimp API/Synch processes for particularly large lists will sometimes not complete the synch properly.  We have put in code to keep the API flowing and open till the end.
    • Pull back of messages from MailChimp to Communications report; error was occurring if a campaign was in queue but not sent. This is not updated/corrected.
