Summer is officially here, and so is the latest release of MatrixMaxx. MatrixMaxx 16.2 rolls out Integration with Google Analytics (and more)! For a guided walk-through of the release, grab your favorite summer beverage and attend our free Overview Session on Thursday, June 23, 11am Eastern time on WebEx. (If you haven’t already, please RSVP to admin@matrixgroup.net to reserve your slot and get login information!) Enhancements in MatrixMaxx 16.2 include …
- Analytics: Available Upgrade: Integration with Google Analytics Custom Dimensions …
- With Google Analytics, you know a lot about your website traffic, like what’s driving traffic and what people are doing on your site. But the basic reports give you very little insight about WHO is visiting. The MatrixMaxx association management system (AMS) now provides an answer to the ‘who?’ question by integrating our CRM component with Analytics. By setting special data-rich cookies upon user login, the membership database is able to provide Google with critical demographic data about who is visiting your website in aggregate. You may then utilize Google Analytics’ reporting to see which types of users are visiting which portions of your site and how they are flowing through your content.
- Here are the generic Demographics that we set with the base implementation of this integration:
- Company/Organization Type [displays in analytics as mxx_companyType]
- Membership Type (former members get set as ‘Nonmember’) [displays in analytics as mxx_memberType]
- Member Status (active or not) [displays in analytics as mxx_memberStatus]
- Is this individual on a committee(s)? Yes/No [displays in analytics as mxx_isCommittee]
- Is this individual on the Board(s)? Yes/No [displays in analytics as mxx_isBoard] [being set/tracked via a new field in the Committee setup area]
- Is this individual a Primary Contact? Yes/No [displays in analytics as mxx_primaryContact]
- 3-minute training video to explain/demonstrate it
- Cost to Implement this integration: $1,000
- Your site must be on the latest version of Analytics – Tag Manager – for this to function. If you are not, then your site will need to be upgraded to Tag Manager. Time/Cost of this will vary depending on your website setup.
- We can also add additional custom fields to the data cookie; let us know which additional fields you’d be interested in and we’ll give you a quote. (Please note that Analytics does not currently handle multi-value fields well. So fields such as Category checkboxes do not translate well into Custom Dimensions.)
- NOTE: If you do not host your website/CMS with Matrix Group, there will be additional steps/cost necessary to pursue this integration.
- Analytics: Conversion tracking using Analytics tracking codes and the MatrixMaxx marketing code field. Learn more about this new feature here.
- Meetings: My Meetings has now been rolled into the generic product. Want to learn how to use My Meetings? Just visit the Support Center! From your MatrixMaxx Intranet, go to Help -> MatrixMaxx Support Center, and then search for ‘My Meetings’
- SiteAdmin access: Staff users with generic ‘SiteAdmin’ access may now access a recent ‘Page request history’ for users from their individual view page on the MatrixMaxx Intranet. For the associations who had us customize admin access levels, if you want this upgrade, please contact us as it will be fairly easy to add to your custom access.
- Membership: Available Upgrade: We can now offer the option for staff to manually trigger Welcome emails rather than only having the option for an automated trigger (for Intranet only, or both WWW and Intranet). Cost of this option will depend on whether or not your Welcome emails are already setup and you simply want to change your trigger coding, or if your Welcome emails were never setup
- WWW Profile creation; Available upgrade: Automatically approve WWW profiles in the pending queue if email validation matches your organization’s domain name. Cost will depend upon your current WWW setup
- Staff Calendar: When putting in calendar items on the internal staff calendar, it is now set to have the End Date default to the START date, to speed up entry time.
- Reports:
- Organization Query Builder: Search by whether or not Company has a certain Commerce Bill
Search fields: Regular Expressions are a very flexible and powerful set of search parameters that allow you to search for partial strings, missing digits, and comparisons. In the 16.2 release, we have implemented Regular Expressions into all of our numeric search fields, so you can perform very detailed searches in all your numeric fields.
And don’t forget to RSVP to admin@matrixgroup.net for the free Overview of the new features and changes on Thursday, March 23, 11am Eastern time on WebEx. Even if you can’t come, an RSVP is helpful to know that you can’t attend.
