Do you have some users that you wish would make better use of your resources? Make it easy for them to log in and use their member benefits by sending them a email containing their MatrixMaxx username. You can already do this one an individual basis using the contact email in MatrixMaxx’s individual profile page, but MailChimp allows you to do it in bulk with a custom message.
You can use your MailChimp integration along with MatrixMaxx to send that email to a bulk list of people. Here’s how:
- Start by creating or selecting a list that you have integrated with a list in Mailchimp, and sync it to make sure all data is up-to-date. (Need help with this? Read our how to article on this topic.)
- Now, head back to MailChimp, go to “Campaigns”, “Create Campaign” and create an email, just like you usually would create to send an email to a list.
- In the campaign setup, make sure to choose the MailChimp list you just synced. And remember, because it synced with your MatrixMaxx list, it will include the current data from the information fields in Maxx!
- When composing the body of your email, use the “Merge Fields” dropdown to add the “Username” field to your email, the same way you may already do with information like the “name” fields.
Tada! Your email can now include a user’s MatrixMaxx username!
