How Can We Help?

Organization Lists

Organization Lists

Do you fire up your computer and run the exact same Organization search every morning? Does your association send out any good old-fashioned paper mailings? If you answered ‘yes’ to either of those, MatrixMaxx’s Organization Lists can help!

Organization lists, which can be found under the Communication tab, are a great way to store a static or dynamic lists of organizations. Like Individual and Committee/Mailing lists, you can add or exclude organization manually or by dynamically-updated criteria. However, organization lists vary from Individual and Committee lists because they are not linked  to a mailing list function. This makes them ideal for activities like paper mailings and saving frequently-run searches.

Paper Mailing: Example

Do you send a paper holiday card to your members every year? You could make an organization list with the inclusion criteria of “Active Member.” Since criteria is dynamic, the list will keep itself up to date, so all you need to do each year is open the list, export and print your mailing labels!

Saved Searches: Example

On the last Monday of each month, you give a courtesy phone call to each of your first year members to check their happiness and answer any question they may have about their new membership. Rather than re-run this search criteria each month, create an organization list with automatically-updated inclusion criteria that is available to you with a single click!

Don’t forget: As will all lists, if you add or exclude organizations by criteria, the list will automatically update each night. For example, if you add organization with criteria of all active members in the state of Connecticut, the list will reflect a new member joining mid-membership cycle.
