The MatrixMaxx AMS was patched the evening of January 18, 2017
Generic enhancements and updates included the following …
- Survey Upgrades
- Surveys now support minimum and maximum number of answers in multi-select question types (e.g., checkboxes). The new fields will show up when this type of question is selected in the add/edit question pop-up boxes. When a survey respondent tries to answer this question without giving the correct number of responses, they will be directed back to the same page with an error message (like we currently do for required questions). [Internal Matrix Reference: P-7820]
- Survey text questions have more flex for box size
- Survey Title text on WWW pages now fixed to display proper value
- Meetings: Event Scheduling Validation. If a WWW-side individual user tries to sign up for more than one Event at the same time, MatrixMaxx will stop the user from doing so and provide warning text as to why. (NOTE: This only functions with individual-signup events, not ticketed events) [Internal Matrix Reference: Maxx 2725]
- Commerce Products/Store: Ability to see any coupon code that could be applied to a commerce product, within the intranet commerce product view page. You can see them in the “Product Description and Details” section of the product view. This also includes general coupons, like 10% off whole order. [Internal Matrix Reference: 110474 ]
- Communications: Ability for staff to delete staff-entered communications (not system-generated communications) [Internal Matrix Reference: P-7836]
- Committees: Tweaked text on Intranet page to make easier to read
- Reports: Company and Individual Exports: Added Prospect Level to the exports [Internal Matrix Reference: 111578 ]
- Fundraising: Fixed an error on the WWW donor form that occurred if the user selected to make a donation “from someone else” and that someone else didn’t have a company in the database [Internal Matrix Reference: 111446 ]
- Upgraded CAS response to be able to send more data in the initial response as opposed to needing to call the API. Contact Matrix for more details if you have a 3rd party vendor who would like this.
IMPORTANT: Almost every patch includes updates/patches to the scripting in use on the various pages. Scripting is often cached by the browsers and only periodically refreshed. If a page is not formatting properly, or elements are missing or not behaving properly following a patch, please do a ‘hard refresh’ on the page prior to contacting Matrix to report an issue. (Using a keyboard, a browser can be forced to pull all elements of a page, again, by holding down the SHIFT key and clicking the browser refresh button.)
