MatrixMaxx uses a variety of cookies to support our functionality. Cookies are bits of data stored within the users browser, to support or enhance website functionality or performance. Per recent privacy regulations, like GDPR, these cookies fall into two key types:
- Essential Cookies (aka Required Cookies) used to support the basic functionality of the site for the user (login, authentication, authorization, cart, etc.) do not currently fall under these new privacy regulations (such as GDPR) as certain site options would be unusable without them.
- All other cookies are considered Non-essential Cookies and are subject to new privacy regulations like GDPR. These are used to gather browsing or conversion information, support analytics reporting, usage info, etc. These cookies often feed data to 3rd parties or advertisers. As personal data is stored in some of these non-essential cookies, their usage falls under the need to obtain user consent (which should be freely obtained through user action, and should be revokable at any time by the user)
