The 19.4 MatrixMaxx release rolls out the Individual Importer to all implementations, along with some other small patches. Please take a few minutes to review these patch notes, as all notable changes are documented here.

Individual Importer (Starts at 4:00 on Overview recording)
Almost every client who uses MatrixMaxx has asked for some type of importer function, to either import complete new names/data or to re-import list exports that have been manually groomed and updated.
- Phase 1 includes these 4 critical fields:
- Individual Firstname
- Individual Lastname
- Individual Title
- Individual Email
- Detailed Import Help Instructions have already been documented in the Support Center.
- If your ‘siteadmins’ are having issues accessing the importer, it could be you have a custom (non-default-generic) access level at play which may need a little tweaking to use the importer. Just contact Matrix
- Looking ahead, The ‘company/organization’ field will be the next field added, in a 2020 release

Other Enhancements and Changes
Commerce Product Store: Option to pregenerate sequential Product ID Number. On adding a new product, a new, sequential numeric ID is added, but can be overwritten by a custom one. Words (Internal Reference 8667 )
Contacts: Tweaks on WWW Create Profile in the language and formatting around the Organization/Company Name field, after some users experienced issues with individuals filling in their own name rather than their organization’s name (Internal Reference 121108 ) and tweaks made to adhere to newer browser autocomplete code (Internal reference 121735)
Contacts: fixed issues ‘deleting’ an individual who used to have a photo upload (Internal Reference 121306 )
Communications: Tightened validation on mailing list names (Individual Lists without Mailing Lists were able to have the same name, which caused conflicts( Internal Reference 21371 )
Meetings: Upgraded ‘meeting summary’ widget to add a new above $0 (non-free) registration count (Internal Reference 121537 )
Intranet Dashboard: Updated the Animal Cams available on the MyMatrixMaxx Dashboard widget! Note that you may need to refresh or re-select widgets for them to update their stream source.(Internal Reference MAXX-3311)
Security, Privacy and Integrations

Server Upgrades en masse to Ubuntu18 and NGINX
The MatrixMaxx AMS has functioned on a LAMP [Linux (Ubuntu, currently 14.04 LTS, aka Trusty Tahr), Apache, MySQL, Python] stack for years, but our transition is continuing to LEMP [Linux (Ubuntu, version 18.04 LTS, aka Bionic Beaver), NGINX, MySQL, Python]. Several updates related to this move had gone into place. When it’s your turn for the upgrade to happen, we’ll let you know!
