How Can We Help?

Canceling vs. Rejecting in MatrixMaxx

While processing an application, registration or purchase in MatrixMaxx, you may have seen both an option to Cancel the application and the option to reject it. Here are the basic differences between these options and when you would want to use one versus that other.

Rejecting: You would reject an application when it first comes first comes in if the application or registration is not valid. For example, this person shouldn’t have submitted and application in the first place or it is a duplicate.

Canceling: You would cancel an application later in the process if the person never sends a payment or decides they no longer want to pursue the application for some reason. For example: a person registers for a meetings and then decides they can no longer attend. This registration was valid, but no longer needed.
