My Account and How it Works

The My Account upgrade feature in MatrixMaxx is a very easy way of seeing all the financial transactions for an organization for the past three years.  The are two displays for this feature, the Intranet display allows association staff the history for a particular organization. The WWW display allows the Member Primary and billing contacts to see/pay these same transactions for the organization.

My Account allows an individual to see/pay invoices for a recent number of years.

  • Shows all invoices for past 3 years. (But it would not be hard to change that number on an association-by-association basis, if you wanted it higher)
  • Gives links to view/print WWW invoices
  • Gives links to ‘review/pay’ that invoice online

Here are the details on what My Account allows the organization contacts to do on the WWW site:

For MEMBERSHIP DUES

  • It the Dues are at the Company Level, either the Primary Contact or the Billing Contact can see and pay these dues
  • My Account does work relatively well with installments. As each installment comes due, the Primary/Billing contact can return to the My Account page, see the link to ‘[REVIEW/PAY]’ and enter payment. [NOTE: This does not work properly with a custom installment schedule, because we send them through the application to review/pay it and ‘custom’ installment is not a WWW side option, only 1 installment and Quarterly are options on WWW. If we wanted to get around this, we’d need to do some kind of coding that changed the button from REVIEW/PAY to just ‘PAY’ at some point … maybe on 2nd+ installment?]
  • Installments from previous years are also available for payment, but there is no type of enforcement code. i.e., If I still need to pay part of my 2011 dues, and my 2012 dues are available, too, I can just pay my 2012 dues and ignore my 2011 ones. (This seems pretty rare. It looks like only a handful of PMPA members entered 2012 with a balance from 2011 dues)

For MEETING REGISTRATIONS

  • Registrations are at the Individual level
  • Primary Contact and Billing Contact of the organization can see the invoice, but can not pay it.
  • The only other person who can see/pay the registration is the ‘Coordinator’ of the registration, if there is one.

For COMMERCE ORDERS

  • Registrations are at the Individual level
  • Primary Contact and Billing Contact of the organization can see the invoice, but can not pay it.
