If you would like to get a report of first-time meeting attendees so you can market to them in a special way, here is how to get that report in MatrixMaxx.
- Click the ‘Reports’ tab.
- Click the ‘Individual Search’ sub tab.
- Click the ‘Activities’ drop down and then select ‘Register for Meeting’.
- Click the button to ‘Add Criteria’.
- Select the meeting where you want to find first time meeting attendees from the list of meetings.
- Click the ‘Activites’ drop down again and this time select ‘Not Register for Meeting’.
- Click the button to ‘Add Criteria’.
- Choose ‘All of’ in the drop down just above the list of meetings.
- Select all meetings EXCEPT the one you are finding first time attendees for. You can select multiple meetings by holding the CTRL key on your keyboard and clicking each meeting you want to select. You may also hold the SHIFT key on your keyboard to select all meetings between the first and last one you select.
You may now search or export to get a list of fist time attendees.
If you want to make a list of this and have CommunicationsMaxx enabled, simply go to the Communications tab, then Individual lists, and construct a list with this criteria.
NOTE: This data will only be as accurate as the data in the AMS, i.e., If MatrixMaxx only holds 5 years worth of data, but you have 30 years worth of meeting attendance data in paper or in another system, then results need to be given a time-based ‘sanity check’. That is, you can only guarantee that this person hasn’t attended a meeting in the last 5 years, not necessarily ever.
