There isn’t a way in MatrixMaxx to directly transfer a membership from one organization to another. Here is what we recommend doing in a situation where the membership needs to be moved.
Create a membership application for the organization who should have the membership going forward. Give this application a discount for the full cost with the description for the comment being that the payment was made on XX organization’s application. Then use the comments in this application to give more details as to why this membership was paid for in another organization’s application.
Next, you can deactivate the organization who should no longer be a member. While this isn’t as simple as transferring a membership, it does allow you to accommodate a situation where the active membership should be moved from one organization to another.
