NEW Support Center! (Overview Video Timestamp 3:10)

The MatrixMaxx Support Center is all new and improved, to help you find what you need …

  • The entire site is redesigned with fresh new styling and graphics
  • The announcements and patch notes which had previously taken away prime dashboard real-estate now appear in a drop-down from the upper left navigation under the Help (?) function. When a new announcement is posted, the drop-down will appear upon initial staff entry onto the MatrixMaxx intranet, flagging any new information. Once closed, it will then not ‘pop out’ again till the next addition.
  • All ‘Getting Started’ articles have been reorganized into a MatrixMaxx 101 Training Curriculum, to help introduce and train new association staff to successfully use MatrixMaxx!

Upgraded Dashboards and Visualizations (Overview Video Timestamp 12:05)

Just as spring is bursting with new life, so are the pages in MatrixMaxx! New charts, graphs, visuals and design elements have been introduced throughout the intranet, giving staff a more visual experience as they interact with their data.

  • Upgraded Dashboard controls, allowing staff to personalize each module’s intranet landing page dashboard
  • New and improved Dashboard Widgets, including Membership Churn, Tenure, and Budget
  • An enhanced Advocacy Dashboard featuring a map of members within congressional districts
  • Upgrades to all pre-existing charts and graphs using fresh new Highcharts-powered visualization features including interactive roll-over, full screen and export functionalities
  • Reimagined intranet detail page styling, including new visuals, charts and graphs for Meetings, Products, Sponsorships, and Funds
  • New visualizations and charts in membership (Budget Report), meetings (Summary Report) and committees (introduction of the ad-hoc visualizer to the committee options)

Additional MatrixMaxx 24.1 Generic Enhancements

If you have the module that these enhancements are attached to, you’ve got them! (Reminder: association-specific customizations may override generic functionality)

Integration with Google ReCAPTCHA, allowing the association to input their ReCAPTCHA API key for use on MatrixMaxx-generated WWW pages. Currently, it is implemented on the WWW Reset Password form, due to recent bot issues on this page. This functionality will be expanded in the future as necessary. (Overview Timestamp: 39:19)

NEW! The Account Manager upgrade, enabling flagging and reporting on association staff as ‘Account Managers’ for organizations in the database.  (Internal Reference Maxx 4221)

  • In the Contacts module …
    • On the Organization View page, Account Manager(s) show prominently under the organization logo and activity icons
    • Account Managers may be added/edited on the organization ‘Staff’ page or the ‘CRM’ page
  • In CRM module …
    • There is a new ‘Accounts’ section
    • My Accounts will show staff any organizations for which they are tagged as the Account Manager
    • ‘Search for Account Managers’ will enable other staff to see lists of staff connected to various organizations

Meetings: Advanced Speaker Tracking: Previously in MatrixMaxx, speakers could be connected to ‘Events’ within a Meeting. Now, we have expanded speaker tracking. (Internal Reference Maxx 4214)

  • In addition to adding speakers to an event within a meeting, association staff can now add speakers directly to the meeting itself on the first page of “Edit Meeting”
    • All of the speakers (both meeting and event) display in the Meeting Details section of the intranet Meeting View page
  • Speakers are now tagged on individual and company participation reports
    • Both event-level and meeting-level speakers show here
    • If someone was only a speaker, they will be tagged as (Speaker)
    • If someone was a speaker AND registered for the meeting, they will be tagged as (Speaker and Registered)
    • tagged individuals will be displayed before untagged in the company-level reports
  • Adding an individual as a speaker for an event or for the whole meeting will create an activity (as will removing the individual from their speaker position)

Meetings -> Ability to Archive a Meeting which removes them from all searches and meeting dropdowns except for explicitly searching for archived meetings on the ‘Search Meetings’ form. This is good for hiding test meetings that are no longer used. (Internal Reference Maxx-4208) (Overview Timestamp 48:32)

Meetings -> Intranet Meeting View page: New accordions on the first ‘edit’ page of the meeting setup, to lessen the length/scrolling on this page  (Internal Reference Maxx-4215)(Overview Recording Timestamp xxx)

Meetings -> Export now available from the Report of Unsubmitted Registrations (Internal Reference P9644)

Meetings -> WWW Attendee Rosters -> organization/company now links to the website if one is present in MatrixMaxx (Internal Reference Maxx-4196)

Meetings -> WWW Meeting View -> Registration validation upgraded to show more explicit feedback to users regarding why online registration is not available (Internal Reference 133152)

Reports -> Advanced Organization Search -> Interactions now allow searching for organizations based on whether they have anyone registered (or not registered) for a particular meeting(s). A great resource for trade associations to search for ‘which member companies do not have anyone registered for the annual meeting’

Security Upgrade: Stronger Password requirements / validation as well as upgraded encryption (Internal Reference Maxx-4175, Maxx-4231)

  • Removed the password length requirement in favor of simply ensuring the “Very Strong” password requirement is met
  • Added on-the-fly password validation as you create your password
  • Newer, strong hashing method
  • Changes will only impact new/changed passwords from this point forward

Finance -> Intranet Payment Page -> Rearranged fields to put Payment amount/allocations above the payment/card details to help prevent incorrect allocations by staff as well as better support connection to the Braintree Gateway. (Internal Reference Maxx-4178)

Finance -> Batches -> Handling of declines by PayFlow varies based on the type/age of the account, and some accounts were erroneously pulling back ‘Declines’ as ‘Pending Payments’; we have now put in code which should prevent this from happening as it is confusing for staff and serves no purpose. (Internal Reference Maxx-4198)

Commerce -> Upgrade Product ‘copy’ function to allow copying of images and uploads, similar to Meetings (Internal Reference Maxx-3814)

Sponsorships -> New Confirmation text per Opportunity, to be included in Confirmation Email. Similar to the Confirmation Text for Products (Internal Reference Maxx-P9611)

Communications -> Delivery Report: Links to individual records added from bouncing and/or suppression list emails, when possible (Internal Reference Maxx-4186)

Contacts -> Updated Twitter/X logo (Internal Reference Maxx-4172-4197)

API Additions/Changes to both the low-level (LL) and high-level (HL) API …

  • Add calendar blurb to Meeting API fields
  • Add calendar blurb to UpcomingMeetings LL API call
  • Add isNonZero to MeetingRegistrations HL API to filter for non-zero fee total registrations
  • Fix top products query not working as expected in HL API
  • Added Activity HL API endpoint
  • Add isWebinar to public attributes for Meeting API
